3. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
Touching millions of generations this family classic by director Steven Spielberg follows the story of a little boy who befriends a alien who is stranded on Earth. The film is one of the highest-grossing movies of all time. Did you know, E.T. was voiced by women despite the fact that the funny looking alien is neither male or female.
4. Mrs Doubtfire
When a loving but somewhat useless father is prevented from seeing his children following a divorce, he decides to dress up in disguise as a Scottish housekeeper in order to see more of his kids. The results are both hilarious and heartwarming. Picture: PA
5. Back To The Future
Heart's Matt Wilkinson and JK simply love this film - but for different reasons! JK: "I watch 'Back To The Future' again and again because it reminds me of growing up and I always wanted to be Michael J Fox because he was short too. Matt Wilkinson: "Every time I watch it I notice another little detail, and it's the details that make it a great film. That and I love screaming the line '1.21 jigawatts!'in unison with the Doc".

A family fun-packed film with lots of emotion. No wonder it's Heart's Lucy Horobin's favourite film to watch over and over. The great animation, the laughs and the touchy moments. Who doesn't love 'Toy Story'?
8. Edward Scissorhands
Tim Burton's angsty and quirky tale of a young guy with scissors for hands. Funny, sweet and it stars Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder who keep us coming back again and again.
9. Top Gun
Top Gun is an 80s classic. It made Tom Cruise a super star and had all the right ingredients to make it stand the test of time: ambition, friendship, love, loss and hot actors!
10. Titanic
It doesn't matter how many times you watch 'Titanic', it'll always make you cry! Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio became huge stars after starring in this love story based on the sinking of the Titanic ship.
11. The Shawshank Redemption
As the title suggests, this is a true tale of redemption that no matter how many times you watch this film, it will always move you and fill your heart with hope.
12. Easy Rider
This film starring Dennis Hopper, Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson truly embodied the 60s generation and it's become a on the road cult classic that many enjoy watching over and over.
