Present wrapping can be a thankless task, especially if you're uninitiated in the ways of glittery gift tags, ribbons and decorative bows.

Meanwhile Rebecca, from Leicester, was incensed after realising the 'silver wrapping paper' she had bought turned out to be cellophane, in a tweet that was shared 23,000 times.
