D’Amelio’s popularity has allowed her to partner with a few famous brands, including Dunkin’ Donuts. Recently, Dunkin’ release a signature drink called “The Charli,” which has helped increase sales at its stores nationwide. However, there is still one person who has yet to order “The Charli”: D’Amelio herself. Find out why below.
Dunkin’ Donuts released ‘The Charli’ in September 2020
D’Amelio has been a huge fan of Dunkin’ for a while now. According to People (via Page Six), she started drinking coffee in eighth grade and would often stop at Dunkin’ before school with her older sister, Dixie. Then, she would incorporate Dunkin’ coffee into her TikTok videos to help her deal with “awkward” moments.
In September 2020, D’Amelio partnered with Dunkin’ to release her signature drink, called “The Charli.” The drink is a Dunkin’ Cold Brew with whole milk and three pumps of caramel swirl.
“This is the partnership fans have been rooting for since Charli first danced onto TikTok with her Dunkin’ Cold Brew in hand,” Drayton Martin, Vice President, Brand Stewardship at Dunkin’, said in a statement. “Charli is one of our biggest fans and the feeling is mutual. We’re thrilled to finally make it official and make it easy for people to run on Dunkin’ just like Charli.”

It seems the partnership with D’Amelio has been good for Dunkin’ Donuts’ bottom line.
As reported by TMZ, the day “The Charli” was launched, Dunkin’s app saw a 57% increase in downloads. Within five days, Dunkin’ also sold hundreds of thousands of “The Charli” and increased cold brew sales by 20%.

Although many of D’Amelio’s fans might be lining up to buy her signature drink, the TikTok star herself has not jumped on the bandwagon yet.
On Oct. 8, D’Amelio and her sister, Dixie, launched their own podcast, called 2 Chix. The first episode featured the girls discussing different topics with each other—one of which is D’Amelio’s partnership with Dunkin’.
D’Amelio started out by explaining how she became a regular customer at Dunkin’ before her sister asked if she had ordered “The Charli” yet.
“I haven’t actually ordered it as ‘The Charli’ because I get nervous,” D’Amelio said, implying that she often orders the drink by telling baristas its description. “I feel like they’re going to make fun of me and then I’m going to be really butthurt because it’s, like, me.”
However, D’Amelio is appreciative of other people’s love for her drink. “Seeing everyone else order it is really, really cool,” she said, noting that her friends and family members have also tried out “The Charli” along with her fan base.
